I have been watching the red snake boots for awhile, they were sitting in my cart. I was waiting for the price to decrease, which it did to an amazing $33 and some change w/ free shipping. I was a little apprehensive about the fit around the calf, based on previous reviews. But when I tried them on, they were perfect for me. And they are actually pretty comfy, just walking around in the house w/ them on. The quality was great. Too bad, spring is upon us b/c I would be rockin these babies!!! Is it not tres chique to still wear boots in early spring? -- i luv'em
I wear these boots all the time, and they go with everything! They are not the most comfortable boot but livable. I am on my feet all day long and I can manage it. They look great with jeans and they style up any old skirt. I totally recommend these boots to anyone! -- Very stylish
I read the reviews first and decided after reading one that said she had 19" claves I thought I would give it a try. I measured mine and the widest part is 17.5". I ordered the uber sexy black synthetic boots in a size nine, half size up in hopes for a better fit. They did not fit my mammoth caves... I tried all the tricks I know, such as holding a dryer on the boot so it could stretch more easily and zipping up lower on the leg and pulling them up the calf. I even prayed, "Oh sweet Jesus, please help me make these boots fit, I really want them, please! I'll do anything!" and nothing.
So my conclusion is if you like these boots get them in the leather. Leather will stretch, the synthetic won't. Sexy as boots, fat as calved. Curse my lower leg!!!
